This how-to guide provides simple, step-by-step instructions to help you clear cookies, cached files, and other browsing data in Google Chrome. Clearing this data can help resolve loading issues, improve browser performance, and protect your privacy. 

Step 1: Open Google Chrome 

Open Google Chrome by clicking the icon on the taskbar or selecting from the Start menu. 

 

 

Step 2: Access the Browsing Data Menu  

Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the browser, then select Delete browsing data…

Step 3: Select Data to Clear 

Choose the time range and specific data types you want to remove. In the Delete browsing data window 

  1. Set the Time range to All time
  2. Check the following boxes:
    • Browsing history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
    • Download history
  3. Click Delete from this device
