When you browse the internet, your browser stores temporary files, called cache and cookies, to help websites load faster and remember your preferences. However, over time, these files can cause slowdowns, errors, or display outdated content. Clearing your cache and cookies can help improve your browsing experience.

This guide will show you how to clear cache and cookies in Microsoft Edge.

Step 1: Open Microsoft Edge
Launch Microsoft Edge by clicking on the Edge icon in your taskbar or start menu.

Step 2: Open the Menu
Click on the 3 horizontal dots (also known as the More menu) in the top-right corner of your browser and select delete browsing data.

Step 3: Choose What to Clear

In the Time range dropdown, select All time. Check boxes for: Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files.

Click Clear now to remove the selected data.

Your Cookies and cache are now cleared!
