1) Please ensure that all clinics properly shut down their PCs at night to ensure that connection is not lost or workstation are not recognized by the Epic application.
2) Ensure that the correct icon is being used especially in the Kiosks
3) If a PC is moved please ensure we have the information prior to the use of the PC, this will avoid the provider’s experiencing issues. You can report these items with creating a ticket with the help desk and requesting this be sent to the ambulatory team. Morgan can explain the reporting incident process.
4) If a PC is relocated or a new PC is created here is the information we need
a.The PSV department for the workstation
b. What network printer it should be mapped to
c. Is it an exam room workstation? If so the number of the exam room.
d. Here is an example list of the network print jobs that we normally map at the workstation level (MR=AMBULATORY). We normally send all of these to the same printer so you only need to tell me which default printer is needed.

e. Then I need to know which printer to send orders to, the reason this could be different from above is because not all printers are licensed to print prescriptions so I need this specified.
f. If the PC is a front desk or non-clinical PC we only need to know the default printer for reports and facesheets. Also need to know what label printer they need to be mapped to if they print labels.
5) If you are replacing a printer or renaming a printer here is the information needed.
a.PSV Department
b. Printer ID. Please do not submit IP address
c. Printer Model
d. Will this printer print prescriptions? Y/N
e. Is the printer replacing a different printer? If, so can we move the RX license to the new printer from the old printer? Also what PCs were mapped to the old printer that need to be updated to this new printer?
f. If brand new printer not replacing a different printer please provide the list of PCs that will need to be mapped to this new printer with the information required from item #2.
